Located on the expansive patio of JOEY Newport Beach, this handcrafted Mediterranean olive tree was designed and assembled on-site to bring natural warmth and elegance to the restaurant’s open-air dining experience. The trunk was sculpted and hand-painted by Treescapes artisans to mirror the organic character of a centuries-old olive tree—while the lush, UV-inhibited foliage was carefully installed to provide lasting vibrance in an outdoor setting.
Installation occurred during overnight hours to minimize disruption to operations and was coordinated with precision—anchoring directly into a recessed mounting base concealed within the tiled patio. Within hours, the lifelike structure transformed the environment, adding intimacy, shade, and Mediterranean ambiance that complements the restaurant’s upscale aesthetic.
