In the heart of Minnesota’s most luxurious retail experience, the RH Edina Gallery at Southdale Center offers more than furniture, it delivers an immersive lifestyle destination. Atop the multi-level mansion-style showroom sits the RH Rooftop Restaurant, a glass-enclosed conservatory that invites guests to dine among the trees, beneath dazzling crystal chandeliers, and beside a soothing central fountain.
Treescapes was selected to design and install a series of majestic artificial trees that seamlessly blend into the architecture of the rooftop space while evoking the serenity of a European garden. Custom-built to scale, each tree was designed with a natural canopy spread to soften the room’s vertical lines and cast patterned shadows on the stone-tiled floor.
Key design elements include:
- Realistic, broad-canopy artificial trees in tailored matte black planters
- Custom canopy width and walk-under clearance for open sightlines
- Hand-painted trunks and individually placed foliage for natural realism
- Integration with RH’s symmetrical layout and lighting scheme
These signature trees anchor the restaurant’s open-air aesthetic, providing both scale and softness to the minimalist, high-luxury design. Whether during sunlit brunches or candlelit dinners, the Treescapes installation enhances the RH experience by bringing timeless nature to the center of it all.
