A Sculptural Olive Tree at the Heart of the Space
At Pacifica Place, NatureMaker® worked with Hibner Design Group to introduce a strong natural focal point through a steel-trunk Mediterranean Olive tree. Positioned at the center of a circular gathering table, the Olive tree becomes an integral part of the interior rather than simply an accent within it. Its substantial trunk, organic branching, and full canopy bring height, texture, and natural character into the warm, contemporary environment.
The tree’s sculptural form complements the space’s soft neutral palette, natural wood finishes, and understated furnishings. Framed by expansive windows and abundant natural light, the canopy adds another layer of depth while helping soften the clean architectural lines surrounding it.
By integrating the tree directly into the communal seating area, the design creates a memorable place for people to gather beneath the canopy. The result demonstrates how a single thoughtfully positioned botanical element can establish identity, warmth, and a sense of connection within an interior.
