San Diego, CA
Bathed in natural light and framed by soaring curves of modern architecture, Sunset Cove at San Diego International Airport was designed as more than just a terminal—it’s a tranquil gateway. Our contribution? Six custom-crafted 30-foot Queen Palms that rise in elegant symmetry, bringing a dramatic yet soothing vertical presence to this bustling, light-filled space.
Nestled among circular leather seating pods, these towering palms serve as organic icons of Southern California cool. Sculpted with exacting realism and positioned for maximum visual and spatial harmony, the trees soften the stainless-steel interiors while enhancing the terminal’s sense of air and motion. The graceful fronds and textured trunks echo the rhythm of the coastal palms just outside, connecting travelers to the landscape even before takeoff.
This installation is a celebration of place—where tropical serenity meets architectural ambition, and where every layover feels just a little more like vacation.
