How the Company Came Together

NatureMaker (est. 1983)

Replica Black Olive Tree Natural Trunk Wurst Beer Garden Canada Restaurant Project 1

Bennett Abrams, a naturalist and sculptor, and Gary Hanick founded NatureMaker in 1983. Abrams invented the Steel Art Tree™, treating botanical replication as fine art rather than industrial manufacturing. NatureMaker pioneered welded steel armatures clad in hand-sculpted polymer bark and has been the originator and benchmark of the sculpted tree industry ever since. Gary Hanick continues to lead the Naturemaker brand today.

PLANTWORKS™ (est. 1987)

OAK PLANTS EWR

PlantWorks was established in Las Vegas in 1987. Over nearly 40 years, it built its reputation project by project in the most competitive hospitality market in the world, becoming the go-to partner for immersive botanical experiences for casinos, restaurants, and resorts.

TreeScapes (est. 1989, acquired 2013)

Artificial Indoor Trees Queensyard Restaurant

TreeScapes built a portfolio of over 20,000 projects, establishing itself as the industry leader in preserved palms and engineered trees. International Greenscapes was founded in 2013 with the acquisition of TreeScapes. Under CEO Ira Falk, all three brands were brought together under one roof. The unified International Greenscapes brand launched in June 2025.

How We Work

We handle everything in-house, from design through fabrication and on-site assembly.

Design Consultation

Great environments begin with thoughtful collaboration. Our design team works closely with architects, designers, and developers to translate ideas into striking, buildable botanical environments.
The process typically includes initial consultation, species selection, scale and proportion recommendations, preliminary sketches, professional renderings, and material samples. As designs evolve, we refine the details through as many iterations as necessary to ensure the final concept aligns with the architecture, the aesthetic vision, and the practical realities of the space.
Whether you arrive with full construction drawings, a rough sketch, or simply an idea worth exploring, our team will help shape the design until it feels right.

American Craftsmanship

Our trees and botanical environments are designed, fabricated, and assembled in our U.S. studios in San Marcos (CA), Las Vegas (NV), and Miami (FL), representing more than 75,000 square feet of production and showroom space. Certified welders, sculptors, scenic artists, and engineers work together to fabricate structural cores, sculpt lifelike forms, and complete each finished product.

To achieve the highest level of botanical realism, we selectively source premium foliage and specialty plant materials from trusted global partners. These elements are then integrated, customized, and assembled by our teams in the United States, ensuring every project reflects the craftsmanship, quality control, and design standards that define International Greenscapes.

On-Site Assembly

Our crews travel nationally and internationally to perform final assembly at your site. We coordinate with your construction schedule, work clean, and conduct a final walkthrough before signing off.

Post-Assembly Support

We provide maintenance guidance, touch-up paint kits, cleaning recommendations, and warranty documentation. Our client relationships regularly span decades.
