International Greenscapes
Real maples are deciduous, shedding their leaves every fall and standing bare through winter. A fabricated maple holds its foliage year-round, with no leaf drop, no dormant season, and no maintenance. International Greenscapes hand-sculpts custom maple trees in any seasonal color for lobbies, restaurants, atriums, and commercial interiors.
Over 100 years of combined botanical fabrication experience across three American studios.
International Greenscapes fabricates artificial maple trees through two primary construction methods, depending on the environment, scale, and design goals of your project.
Both methods are available in Japanese maple and red maple varieties, with custom color palettes and canopy densities tailored to your space.
Custom fabricated from modest accent trees up to 50+ feet. Canopy spans up to 40-50 feet.
Scalable to your specifications. Standardized designs available for multi-location rollouts.
Maple’s graceful symmetry and layered canopy create an inviting, warm arrival experience. Year-round autumn tones add richness without seasonal gaps.
A maple canopy overhead adds intimacy and vertical interest to dining environments, functioning as both focal point and spatial divider.
Clean branching lines and warm foliage tones soften modern architecture without competing with it.
Natural-looking deciduous trees contribute to calming, restorative environments where biophilic design improves patient and visitor comfort.
Maple works well as both a permanent statement piece and a Treelusions® seasonal element, shifting from summer green to autumn orange between events.
Sculptural maple forms serve as architectural centerpieces in atriums and exhibit halls. Interactive configurations with walkways and platforms are possible at monumental scales.
No leaf drop, no bare winter branches. Specify the season you want and keep it permanently: spring green, full summer canopy, or peak autumn color.
No watering, fertilizer, pruning, pesticides, or specialized grow lighting. Occasional dusting is all that’s needed.
Available with Inherently Fire Retardant (IFR) foliage that meets ASTM E84 Class A and NFPA 701 standards, required for most commercial and public assembly spaces.
Colorfast finishes resist fading. Materials will not rot, decay, or decompose. Our trees are engineered to maintain their original appearance for decades with minimal upkeep.
Eliminates irrigation systems, grow lighting, maintenance contracts, plant replacement, and pest control. Most commercial projects achieve break-even against living plants within 3-5 years.
RoHS compliant (non-toxic, non-allergenic). No soil means no mold growth and no insect habitat.
International Greenscapes can replicate virtually any maple species, but two varieties account for most commercial requests.
Our artisans study each species’ growth habits, bark characteristics, and branching patterns, then hand-carve bark textures from molds taken from real maple specimens. Foliage is placed following the natural arrangement patterns of the living tree, with multiple translucent finish layers that create depth and realistic variation under different lighting conditions.
Custom color palettes, canopy densities, and hybrid interpretations are all available. If you need a specific look that does not fit neatly into Japanese or red maple, our team can create it.
Delicate, deeply lobed leaves with fine branching structure. Known for layered, open canopies that filter light. Often specified in autumn red, burgundy, or orange tones. Works well as a feature tree in intimate spaces, restaurants, and wellness environments where refinement and visual lightness are priorities.
Broader leaves and a fuller, more rounded canopy shape. Strong vertical trunk with bold branching. Commonly chosen for lobbies, atriums, and large-scale environments that need presence and density. Available in green summer foliage or the vivid scarlet and orange that makes this species iconic in fall.
Every International Greenscapes artificial maple tree can be specified with materials that meet or exceed commercial building codes.
All foliage uses Inherently Fire Retardant (IFR) polymers where fire-retardant chemicals are mixed directly into the resin before molding. This makes fire protection integral and permanent; it cannot wash off, wear away, or degrade over time.
NATUREMAKER™ fabricated cat trees are built with the same steel-core engineering used across our commercial custom tree program.
These structures are designed for environments where animal weight, repeated climbing activity, and long-term public exposure all require real structural performance.
Contact us with your project vision, sketches, architectural drawings, or even a rough idea. We will discuss species options, scale, and configuration.
Our team creates professional renderings showing the maple tree in your space, with options for species variety, canopy density, trunk configuration, and foliage color. As many iterations as needed until you are satisfied.
For complex or large-scale projects, we provide structural calculations, seismic compliance verification, load analysis, and code compliance documentation for your building department.
You receive a detailed proposal covering scope, specifications, production timeline, assembly schedule, and total investment. No hidden fees.
Your tree is built at our American studios in San Marcos, CA (San Diego Area); Las Vegas, NV; or Miami, FL. Certified welders fabricate the armature. Artisan sculptors hand-carve bark textures. Scenic artists apply polychromatic finishing glazes.
Our professional assembly crews deliver, anchor, finish, and dress your tree on-site. Quality verification walkthrough included, with minimal disruption to your operations.
Yes. We can replicate Japanese maple, red maple, sugar maple, and virtually any other variety. Our artisans study each species' growth habits, bark texture, and leaf shape to build a faithful reproduction. Foliage can be specified in any seasonal color, from spring green to peak autumn red, orange, or gold.
Our process achieves 87% botanical accuracy by replicating real maple growth patterns, leaf placement, and trunk proportions. Finishing involves multiple translucent glaze layers that create depth and organic variation under different lighting. Clients who visit our showrooms in Las Vegas, Miami, or San Diego consistently report that the realism exceeds their expectations.
We fabricate maple trees from small accent pieces (6-12 feet) to standard interior trees (12-20 feet), large statement trees (20-35 feet), and monumental pieces exceeding 50 feet. Each tree is scaled to complement your architectural volume.
Yes. Column-wrapped trees are one of NATUREMAKER®'s signature innovations. We build the steel armature of the maple tree directly around your existing support column, turning a utilitarian element into a biophilic design feature.
All foliage is available in Inherently Fire Retardant (IFR) materials meeting ASTM E84 Class A and NFPA 701 standards. Our materials are RoHS compliant, non-toxic, and non-allergenic. Structural engineering meets or exceeds seismic and building code requirements.
With minimal maintenance, our trees maintain their appearance for decades. A restaurant recently contacted us about relocating a NATUREMAKER® tree that had been in place for 20 years. The photos showed it looked as good as the day it was assembled, just a little dusty. Materials are colorfast and will not rot, decay, or decompose.
Yes. Our patented Treelusions® system (US Patent No. 10,791,781) allows you to purchase a permanent maple trunk and swap interchangeable branch sets for seasonal changes. Transform your tree from a lush summer green canopy to peak autumn color in minutes, without purchasing multiple trees.
Every International Greenscapes tree is custom-fabricated to your specifications by artisan sculptors, certified welders, and scenic artists at our American studios. These are not pulled from inventory. Each tree is a commissioned piece engineered for your space, with structural calculations, custom sizing, and hand-finished details that mass-produced trees cannot match. Compare the difference firsthand at one of our showrooms.
