At Lucky Lily Asian Brasserie at Vancouver International Airport (YVR), NatureMaker® helped bring a striking botanical presence into the restaurant with steel-fabricated white cherry blossom trees.
Designed with sculptural trunks, expressive branching, and abundant white blossoms, the trees create a dramatic canopy that rises above the dining areas. Their scale and form introduce an organic architectural element into the space while complementing the restaurant’s warm wood finishes, rich seating, and contemporary interior design. Integrated within elongated planters surrounded by layered greenery and natural stone, the cherry blossom trees help define the dining environment without creating visual barriers. The branching canopies extend across the space, adding height, texture, and softness against the open ceiling and structured architectural elements. The white blossoms provide a bright focal point throughout the restaurant, creating contrast against the darker surroundings while giving guests a memorable visual experience. From different areas of the dining space, the trees become part of the atmosphere, helping transform an airport restaurant into a destination with its own distinct sense of place.
