Artificial Oak Trees for Commercial Spaces

International Greenscapes

Custom artificial trees

Artificial Trees & Plants Made in America

Oak trees are among the most architecturally distinctive species in our portfolio. Gnarled trunks, sweeping canopy lines, and a timeless character that works in almost any commercial interior. At International Greenscapes, we’ve built fabricated oaks for hotel lobbies, restaurants, corporate visitor centers, and museums.

Over 20,000 successful commercial installations across three specialized brands

Which Type of Oak Tree Is Right for Your Project?

Custom-commissioned oak trees built on a steel armature and hand-carved by artisan sculptors. Bark textures are cast from molds taken off real specimens. Suited for statement-level installations from modest feature trees up to 50+ feet tall. Each tree is a bespoke piece, not pulled from inventory.

Engineered oaks built for durability and repeatable performance. Available in interior and weather-resistant exterior configurations. Well-suited for multi-location rollouts, high-traffic environments, and projects where consistency and budget predictability matter.

Venues and Settings Where Fabricated Oaks Perform

Hotel Lobbies and Resort Atriums

Create an immediate sense of place. Our trio of 20-foot Live Oaks at the Fairmont Austin anchors the open-concept lobby and frames communal seating beneath a hand-textured canopy.

Restaurants and Bars

Oak trees read well behind bars, over dining areas, and as room-defining focal points. See our work at La Neta Cocina in Las Vegas and Queensyard in Hudson Yards, NYC.

Corporate and Visitor Centers

Transform entry experiences. NATUREMAKER®’s indoor oak grove at Wish Farms Corporate Visitor Center in Plant City, FL, immerses guests in a forest of 20-foot oaks from the moment they arrive.

NM TR OAK 4 LOW 2017 0001

Museums and Cultural Institutions

Our 40-foot interactive oak at the Outdoor Adventure Center in Detroit features a spiral walkway, rope bridge, and built-in slide, engineered for continuous public use.

Airport Dining and Retail

Oaks add warmth to high-traffic transit environments. An 18-foot oak anchors the circular bar at Kitchen Step Restaurant inside Newark Liberty’s Terminal A.

Theme Parks and Attractions

Scale up, scale down, or go fully interactive. Our fabricated trees are load-tested to support up to 2,000 lbs, including rigging, signage, and climbable structures.

What You Get with a Fabricated Oak Tree

87% Botanical Accuracy

Bark textures are hand-carved using silicone molds taken from real tree specimens. Trunk proportions, branching architecture, and foliage placement follow natural growth patterns.

No Maintenance Required

No watering, pruning, fertilizer, pest control, or grow lighting — ever. Occasional dusting with compressed air is the full extent of what’s needed across a 10-20+ year lifespan.

Built for the Long Term

Colorfast finishes, UV-resistant materials for exterior applications, and steel-core structural integrity engineered for permanent public installation.

Inherently Fire Retardant

Fire protection is molecularly bonded into our foliage materials — it will not wash off or degrade. This is not a topical spray, and it meets the fire codes required for commercial public spaces.

Full Compliance Documentation

Stamped structural engineering, seismic calculations, and fire certification are all provided. Fire marshals and building inspectors have what they need on day one.

Design Without Biological Limits

Place an oak where a living tree could never survive. Low light, high ceilings, zero irrigation, and extreme foot traffic are not constraints for a fabricated tree.

Safety and Code Compliance for Commercial Spaces

All International Greenscapes fabricated oak trees are engineered to meet or exceed the safety standards required for commercial public assembly spaces. Full certification documentation is provided.

ASTM E84 Class A:

Highest rating for flame spread and smoke development; required for most commercial public spaces

NFPA 701:

National Fire Protection Association standard for fire-retardant materials

California Title 19:

One of the most stringent fire codes in North America

U.S. Government SIN-494-4:

Federal flammability compliance for government facilities

Seismic engineering stamped by licensed engineers:

Compliant with IBC categories D, E, and F

RoHS compliant:

Non-toxic, non-allergenic materials with low-VOC emissions

ADA compliant installations with appropriate clearances and sight lines

NATUREMAKER® steel-core oaks can be engineered to integrate directly with your building systems. The trunk and canopy serve as a concealment structure for infrastructure that would otherwise be exposed, keeping the aesthetic clean while the systems behind it do their job.

Custom artificial trees

Engineered for Extreme Weather and Outdoor Durability

Artificial palms built for demanding exterior environments where live palms require constant replacement or intensive maintenance. UltraLeaf-X® ultraviolet-inhibited foliage resists fading and brittleness, while weather-resistant trunk construction withstands temperature extremes and wind loads year-round.

Our Process

From Consultation to Completion

  • Consultation and Project Review

We review your drawings, discuss species and sizing, and provide preliminary concepts. No charge until you confirm an order.

  • Design Development and Visualization

Our team creates 3D renderings showing the tree in your space. We refine scale, canopy density, bark finish, and integration needs as needed.

  • Engineering, Proposal, and Approval

We develop structural calculations, seismic compliance documentation, and a full proposal covering scope, materials, timeline, and pricing. No hidden fees.

  • Production and Fabrication

Your tree enters production at our San Marcos or Las Vegas facilities. Certified welders, artisan sculptors, and scenic artists build and finish each piece. Minimum lead time is three months.

  • On-Site Assembly and Handover

Our crews handle shipping, assembly, anchoring, and canopy dressing, then conduct a final walkthrough and provide maintenance guidance.
