To help transform Watercrest’s memory care environments into warm, familiar spaces filled with comfort and dignity, NatureMaker designed and installed a series of stunning 20-foot-tall oak trees throughout their Southeastern U.S. communities. These signature trees, each with a 20-foot canopy diameter, are thoughtfully placed in central indoor courtyards to serve as natural gathering points for residents and their families.
Set beneath gently curved ceiling features and surrounded by bistro seating, lantern-style lighting, and therapeutic natural light, the trees anchor a calming yet vibrant social space that encourages interaction, reminiscence, and rest. Each tree contributes to the feeling of a walkable, European-style town square—blending memory care with meaningful moments and beautiful biophilic design.
