Custom artificial trees

Artificial Trees & Plants Made in America

Dense canopies, graceful trunks, and broad-leaf foliage make the ficus one of the most sought-after species in commercial biophilic design. International Greenscapes crafts custom ficus trees at every scale, from 6-foot restaurant accents to 35-foot corporate atrium centerpieces.

20,000+ successful projects worldwide. Made in America since 1983.

How Our Ficus Trees Are Built

International Greenscapes offers three distinct construction methods for artificial ficus trees, each suited to different project requirements.

Steel-Core Sculpted Ficus (NATUREMAKER®)

Welded steel armature with hand-sculpted bark over wire mesh lath. Polychromatic glazing for depth and realism.

Natural Trunk Ficus (PLANTWORKS®)

Genuine preserved wood trunks paired with artisan-crafted artificial foliage. Authentic bark texture and grain.

Fully Fabricated Ficus (TREESCAPES®)

Engineered steel or polymer cores with weather-resistant finishes. UV-inhibited UltraLeaf-X® foliage available.

Retail Environments

Large-format ficus trees draw the eye upward in multi-story retail atriums and flagship showrooms.

Why Architects and Designers Specify Artificial Ficus

Dense, Lush Canopies

Ficus species are known for broad, layered canopies. Our artisans individually place each leaf and branch to replicate the signature fullness of live ficus foliage.

Zero Ongoing Maintenance

No watering, fertilizer, pruning, or pesticide treatments. Occasional dusting with compressed air is all that’s needed.

Decades-Long Lifespan

Our trees are built to last. One 20-year-old tree looks as good as the day it was assembled, just a little dustier.

Fire and Safety Compliant

IFR materials and seismic engineering ensure your ficus tree meets the code requirements for commercial and public assembly spaces.

Custom Sizing and Configuration

Every tree is built to your space, from canopy diameter and walk-under clearance to trunk profile and foliage density.

Technology Integration

Steel-core NATUREMAKER® ficus trees can conceal lighting, speakers, HVAC ductwork, and surveillance systems within the trunk and canopy.

Fire Safety and Code Compliance

Every ficus tree built by International Greenscapes can be specified with materials engineered to meet the fire and safety codes required in commercial and public assembly environments.

Standard Height Range

Typically 6 to 16 feet, sized for standard commercial ceiling heights. Custom heights available on request.

Canopy Configuration

Density and spread are adjustable to suit sightlines and spatial constraints. Walk-under clearance is customizable.

Trunk Preservation

Genuine trunks are selected, preserved, and sealed for long-term interior use. Natural bark texture and grain are retained.

Foliage Options

Artisan-crafted branches and foliage are added to the preserved trunk. Available in standard green, seasonal blooms, or custom color palettes.

Mounting and Placement

Freestanding with base plate or integrated with planters. Trees are anchored securely for high-traffic commercial environments.

Fire Safety and Code Compliance

Every ficus tree built by International Greenscapes can be specified with materials engineered to meet the fire and safety codes required in commercial and public assembly environments.

Steel-Core Engineering and Load Capacity

NATUREMAKER™ fabricated cat trees are built with the same steel-core engineering used across our commercial custom tree program.

These structures are designed for environments where animal weight, repeated climbing activity, and long-term public exposure all require real structural performance.
