Artisan sculptors apply proprietary polymer compounds over wire mesh lath, then hand-carve authentic bark patterns while the material is still uncured. Silicone molds taken from real olive specimens add genuine texture, knots, and fissures.
Scenic artists layer translucent glazes (moss greens, lichen grays, deep umbers) to create the tonal depth and organic variation found in mature olive bark. These colorfast finishes hold up for decades under interior or exterior conditions.
Interior trees use UltraLeaf-IFR® inherently fire-retardant foliage. Exterior trees use UltraLeaf-X® UV-inhibited foliage rated for years of direct sun exposure. Both are inserted at precise angles to replicate natural density and growth patterns.
