International Greenscapes
International Greenscapes designs and fabricates custom artificial trees for hotels, corporate offices, retail centers, airports, and more. Every tree is hand-crafted in America, engineered to meet commercial safety codes, and built to last decades without maintenance.
Over 20,000 successful projects. 40+ years of combined experience. Fabricated in America.
International Greenscapes operates three specialized brands, each focused on a distinct category of artificial trees. Depending on your project goals, one or more may be the right fit.
Hand-sculpted, steel-core trees built to function as architectural elements. Available in virtually any species, up to 50+ feet tall. Ideal for statement-making atriums, lobbies, and monumental focal points. NATUREMAKER™ is the original creator of the sculpted tree, founded 1983.
Fully synthetic trees engineered for durability and realism in high-traffic environments. Available with inherently fire-retardant (IFR) foliage and UV-inhibited options for outdoor use. TREESCAPES™ has completed 20,000+ successful projects since 1989.
Trees built on real preserved wood trunks with artificial limbs and foliage. Delivers organic texture and warmth for hospitality, dining, and retail environments.
Artificial trees are used across virtually every category of commercial and high-end residential space. At International Greenscapes, we work exclusively on professional-scale projects.
Monumental lobby trees, poolside palms, and spa greenery that deliver impact without irrigation, pests, or plant replacement.
Organic ambiance in food service environments where live plants introduce pest risk, light requirements, and ongoing replacement costs.
Statement trees that support biophilic design goals, contribute to LEED certification, and improve employee environments without facility maintenance overhead.
Large-scale botanical features that draw foot traffic, encourage dwell time, and create the kind of environment online shopping cannot replicate.
Monumental-scale trees engineered to meet the strictest fire and safety codes in 24/7 high-traffic public spaces.
RoHS-compliant, non-allergenic, soil-free trees that support healing environments without infection control concerns.
Our artisans study growth patterns, bark characteristics, and branch architecture before sculpting each tree. Bark textures are hand-carved from molds taken from real specimens.
No watering, fertilizing, pruning, or pest control. Once assembled, the tree requires only occasional dusting.
With a lifespan of decades, the total cost of ownership compares favorably to live plant programs that require ongoing replacement and horticultural staffing.
Custom trees are fabricated at our facilities in San Marcos, CA (San Diego Area), Las Vegas, NV, and Miami, FL. Every tree is built to your specifications by certified welders, sculptors, and artisan finishers.
Fire safety certifications, stamped engineering calculations, and seismic compliance documentation are provided as standard. We handle the paperwork so your project clears fire marshals, building inspectors, and insurance underwriters without delay.
Trees can conceal structural columns or mount to walls, turning architectural constraints into design features.
Our portfolio covers deciduous, evergreen, fruit, and custom species. The most commonly specified options are listed below.
Our best-selling species by far is the Mediterranean Olive, specified for hotel lobbies, restaurant dining rooms, corporate atriums, and more. Its gnarly trunk character and expansive canopy make it one of the most distinctive trees in our portfolio. See the Ledger Bentonville project for an example of a 22-foot olive anchoring a coworking atrium.
Acacia, Aspen, Baobab, Birch, Oak, Maple
Banyan, Ficus, Pine, Sequoia, Redwood, Palm
Olive, Apple, Cherry, Orange
Virtually any species can be replicated or stylized. We also produce fantasy, hybrid, and historically accurate forms for themed and museum environments.
Commercial artificial trees must meet strict fire and structural codes. International Greenscapes provides complete compliance documentation for every project.
All foliage is available in Inherently Fire-Retardant (IFR) formulations. Fire-retardant compounds are bonded at the molecular level during manufacturing, so protection does not degrade over time the way topical sprays can.
NATUREMAKER™ treehouses are engineered as functional structures. The steel-core armature is fabricated from 75% recycled steel, welded by certified professionals, and load-tested to support climbing structures, rigging, signage, and integrated building systems. Interactive and technical elements are built directly into the tree itself, as part of the sculpture.
Contact us with your project vision, timeline, and any preliminary sketches or photos. There is no charge for consultation, design work, renderings, or mockups until you confirm an order.
Our team works with your architects, interior designers, and project managers to refine species, scale, and configuration. We provide 3D renderings, photorealistic composites using your architectural photos, and material samples.
For larger projects, our engineers develop structural calculations, seismic compliance documentation, and code compliance paperwork. You receive a detailed proposal with complete scope, specifications, timeline, and itemized pricing.
Once approved, your project enters production at our San Marcos or Las Vegas facilities. Certified welders build the steel armature. Artisan sculptors hand-carve the bark. Scenic artists apply finishing glazes. Minimum lead time for custom fabrication is three months from design approval.
Our crews coordinate delivery and on-site assembly with your construction schedule. Assembly includes secure anchoring, seaming, canopy dressing, and a quality verification walkthrough.
After assembly, we provide maintenance guidance, touch-up paint kits for minor bark repairs, and ongoing technical support.
Quality varies significantly across the industry. At International Greenscapes, our trees are 87% botanically accurate. Bark textures are hand-carved from molds taken from real tree specimens, and leaf placement follows the natural growth patterns of each species. Clients who see our work in person consistently describe the realism as unexpected. We have immersive showrooms in the San Diego area and Las Vegas where you can evaluate the quality before committing to a project.
Yes, when they use certified materials. International Greenscapes uses Inherently Fire-Retardant (IFR) foliage across our product lines. Unlike topically sprayed products, IFR protection is built into the polymer at the molecular level and cannot wash off or degrade. We provide ASTM E84 Class A, NFPA 701, California Title 19, and federal SIN-494-4 certifications, along with stamped engineering documentation for structural compliance.
With minimal upkeep, our trees have a lifespan of 10 to 20+ years. The primary maintenance task is occasional dusting with compressed air. We provide touch-up paint kits for minor bark repairs. More significant damage can be assessed and addressed by our support team.
Every project is custom-quoted because every project is unique. Pricing depends on species, scale, configuration, engineering requirements, and timeline. As a frame of reference, our projects range from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. When you factor in zero irrigation, no plant replacement, and no horticultural staffing over the life of the project, the investment typically pays for itself within the first few years.
The minimum lead time for custom fabrication is three months from design approval. Contacting us during design development or early construction phases gives the most scheduling flexibility. If your timeline is compressed, reach out anyway, and we'll explore what's possible.
Yes. We collaborate closely with professional design teams and can integrate with your CAD drawings, coordinate with other trades, and provide engineering documentation for building departments. Many of our longest client relationships are with architecture and design firms who specify us across multiple projects.
Our fabrication facilities are in San Marcos, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Our assembly crews travel to project sites throughout North America and internationally.
That's what the consultation is for. When you contact International Greenscapes, we'll discuss your project goals and recommend the right solution across NATUREMAKER™, TREESCAPES™, PLANTWORKS™, or a combination. You don't need to know the internal structure of our brands before reaching out.
